Axiology (from Greek ἀξίᾱ, axiā, "value, worth"; and -λογία, -logia) is the study of quality or value. It is often taken to include ethics and aesthetics[1] — philosophical fields that depend crucially on notions of value — and sometimes it is held to lay the groundwork for these fields, and thus to be similar to value theory and meta-ethics. The term was first used in the early 20th century by Paul Lapie, in 1902, and E. von Hartmann, in 1908.[2]
One area in which research continues to be pursued is so-called formal axiology, or the attempt to lay out principles regarding value with mathematical rigor.
Dr. Robert S. Hartman has developed a mathematically based and scientifically validated assessment using axiology. His assessment and the licensing of it are maintained by the Hartman Institute.[3]
The term is also used sometimes in regards to economic value.

The young lady, the young woman, her name, the dark-haired maiden... etc. There are free tips for writers (esp in this genre) on the website below. Just scroll down for advice blogs. Secondly, research it completely. The language is very important, especially the terms for objects and direction, the names of people and days, as well as the 'mind frame'. You may wish to speak from a foreigner's point of view, if you cannot mananger to get into the groove of a local character. Lastly, less telling, more showing... show us what she did by what she does, ratehr than the narrarator telling us. It si more difficult… [cont.]
